New England Truck Series Announces 2014 Schedule
The New England Truck Series has announced it’s 2014 schedule, expanding to three new tracks that were not part of the 2013 schedule. The series will start and end the season at Thompson International Speedway bookends for a 13 date tour which includes multiple visits to Waterford Speedbowl and Monadnock Speedway as well. Twin State Speedway has a June event on the NETS schedule after being absent from last year’s tour. Star Speedway and Hudson International Speedway will make up an exciting new doubleheader weekend for the series in July. The schedule also includes two race weekends reserved for events that have not yet been confirmed.
“We’re excited to be expanding our schedule this season,” said series director Lorrraine Pard. “We know racers love to race anywhere they can, and it’s very exciting for us to be able to offer our teams the opportunity to compete at different facilities around the northeast. Bringing the series to Star and Hudson, and back to Twin State is great for our series and I know they’re excited to have us.”
Before the 2014 season kicks off, The New England Truck Series will celebrate it’s 2013 season on Saturday Jan 18th at the NETS Awards Banquet at the Imperial Room in Danielson, CT. Duane Noll will accept his second consecutive series title. Banquet tickets are $40 and available by contacting lorraine@newenglandtruckseries.com.
