Tom Carey, Jr. Joining Valenti Modified Racing Series
According to the Valenti Modified Racing Series web site, Tom Carey, Jr. of Orange, MA will driving a Modified in 2014. Carey announced on Saturday through his team’s Facebook page that he will be racing a limited VMRS schedule.
A veteran of the NASCAR K&N Pro Series East, Carey made 80 starts between 1994 and 2004. He won seven races at Holland, New Hampshire, Riverside Park, Stafford, Thompson and Watkins Glen. Carey has raced a limited schedule with the ACT Late Model Tour and Serie ACT since 2011. In August, Carey won a Late Model race at Thompson Speedway.
