Unique Awards Going to 2013 PASS Super Late Model Champions

NAPLES, ME — The Pro All Stars Series (PASS), in association with series supporter Northern Race Tire, will be presenting a unique set of awards to the each of the division’s Super Late Model Champions. The 2013 PASS National, PASS North, and PASS South Super Late Model Champions will each be presented with diamond encrusted championship rings in recognition of their hard work during the racing season. In addition, the PASS Pro Late Model, PASS Modified, and PASS Sportsman champions will also receive championship rings, similar in design, but unique to honor their championship seasons.

The PASS Champions’ rings are manufactured and designed by Stylecraft. From Super Bowl rings to civic awards, Stylecraft has been making fine jewelry handcrafted in the United States for over six decades. The 2013 PASS Champions’ rings will be massive in size and will be emblazoned with the PASS logo and other jewels. Additionally, each member of the championship winning teams will also be presented with one-of-a-kind PASS Championship belt buckles to commemorate their accomplishments.

Durham, NC’s Jay Fogleman and Farmington, ME’s Cassius Clark will be the first recipients of racing’s newest annual award. In what he has said was his final season racing for a championship, Fogleman competed for multiple teams on the way to his second straight PASS National Championship and was also able to claim his first PASS South Super Late Model Championship. Like Fogleman, Clark was finally able to take his first PASS North Super Late Model title after years of trying.

“We are very excited to be giving this opportunity to North America’s best Super Late Model racers,” said PASS President Tom Mayberry. “Jay Fogleman and Cassius Clark exemplify everything PASS stands for and no matter where they go, these rings will stand as a symbol of the hard work and dedication it took to achieve one of short track racing’s ultimate goals.”

In 2014, PASS and Northern Race Tire will once again present each of the series Super Late Model champions with custom rings and belt buckles in recognition of their hard work and sacrifices. The 2014 season will kick off with the 3rd running of the Florida Winter Meltdown at New Smyrna Speedway February 7-8. The Florida Winter Meltdown will serve as the first race for both the PASS National and PASS South Super Late Model seasons. The complete 2014 schedules for the PASS North and PASS South Super Late Models can be found at ProAllStarsSeries.com. The PASS National Series schedule will be released shortly after the New Year.

The Pro All Stars Series is recognized as North America’s premier sanctioning body for asphalt Super Late Models and boasts such marquee events as PASS South’s Easter Bunny 150 at the historic Hickory Motor Speedway, the Autobus La Qubecoise Triple Crown at Autodrome Chaudiere, and the legendary Oxford 250 at Oxford Plains Speedway.
