NEMST History Will Be Made on June 22!
Legion Speedway Added to 2014 NEMST Schedule
The full schedule for the North East Mini Stock Tour will be released within the coming weeks. In the meantime NEMST officials have decided to give a little teaser into some of the great advancements being made for 2014!
On Sunday June 22 the competitors of the North East Mini Stock Tour will travel to Rumney, NH and visit the Dirt Track of Legion Speedway. This will be the first ever dirt race in the history of the NEMST which will begin its 6th season in April 2014. The race at Legion Speedway will feature the full NEMST rules and procedures and run the typical NEMST 50 Lap Main Event.
Thirty cars will be allowed to start the main event with the order being decided through 10 lap heat races and a consolation race if needed. NEMST Promoter Bob Guptill said “The drivers have asked about dirt for years and we have finally been able to make the schedules work. I am excited about the sheer number of drivers and teams that will take this opportunity to make their first start on dirt for most teams. Si Allen has been instrumental in helping to get us at Legion. With his help I feel this may be the biggest race of the 2014 season!!”
