Zane Zeiner to Make Indoor Three Quarter Midget Debut in NAPA Know How Atlantic City Races

Entries in All Classes Show Remarkable Geographic Diversity

ATLANTIC CITY/ TRENTON, NJ- — Popular Pennsylvanian Zane Zeiner, whose career achievements in outdoor Stock Car racing are wide ranging, will make his debut indoors this winter as a Three Quarter Midget entrant in the NAPA KNOW HOW Atlantic City and the Battle Of Trenton Indoor races presented by PRC Industries/ Angela House Charity, Indoor races.

The two Len Sammons Motorsports Productions events are scheduled two weeks apart. Indoor racing inside Atlantic City’s Boardwalk Hall is now in its 12th consecutive year of action. Dates are Friday and Saturday January 24 and 25, 2014.The Trenton Sun National Bank Center schedule calls for Twin 20 lap features for the TQ Midgets and compete program of Slingshots on Friday, Feb. 8 and a compete program for TQ Midgets and Champ Karts on Saturday, Feb. 9.

Hailing from Bath, Pa. near Allentown, Zeiner, who has been a winner at Wall Stadium, Oswego Speedway, Mahoning Valley Speedway and Mountain Speedway, is a quick study. His win in the 2012 Wall Stadium SK Turkey Derby came in just his second start at the track. He won the famed Race of Champions, now held at the Oswego, NY Speedway, in 2011. He closed out 2013 with a big win in the Octoberfast 130 at the Mahoning Valley Speedway.

Zeiner will be among the nearly 100 TQ Midget participants ready for Atlantic City action. Collectively, they hail from a dozen states and one Canadian province.

Fatheadz Eyewear will be returning as the series sponsor and will pay bonuses to the top three overall TQ Midget drivers from the two event, four-feature race, series. Drivers will receive points based on their qualifying efforts and feature finishes from Friday and Saturday night at both events towards the overall series crown.

Because of parking limitations, the Sun Bank Center can accept somewhat fewer TQ entries and are presently at capacity; would-be racers are still encouraged to file entries, which will be added to a waiting list.

Zeiner will have plenty of competition in both races. Among the outstanding entries who will join Zeiner in pursuit of their first Indoor wins are exciting Midget driver Carl Medeiros of Westport, Mass., former Bridgeport, N.J. Sprint Car champion Tim Iulg of Bridgeton, N.J., CAN AM Midget perennial contenders Todd Hoddick of Cheektowaga, N.Y,, and Erik Musto of Lockport, N.Y.; Indiana travelin’ man Jason Ormsby of Warsaw, Ind., dirt track Modified specialist Richie Pratt, Jr., of Woodbury Heights, N.J., rising Sprint Car star Kyle Reinhardt of Neptune City, N.J., Todd Stone, dirt/asphalt Modified champion from Middlebury, Vt., past Atlantic City Indoor race winner Mike Tidaback of Little Falls, N.J., and Earl Paules of Palmerton, Pa., his career closely parallels Zane Zeiner’s in scope and achievement.

Anthony Sesely of Matawan, N.J., among the first entries for both Indoor races, is the defending champion of the NAPA KNOW HOW Gamblers’ Classic Saturday night Atlantic City Indoor race.

The always exciting identically prepared Slingshot division’s roster for both the Atlantic City and Trenton races and has been boosted dramatically in the past two weeks by the entries of Modified star Anthony Perrego, established Mod talent Kevin Bates, and Micro Sprint tyro Kyle Lick.

Perrego distinguished himself with a late season Modified win in the high profile ‘Gobbler’ race at Accord Speedway. Bates has been a top Modified driver and winner at Penn Can and Five Mile Point Speedways. Lick, who won the 600cc Dirt Micro Sprint race in 2013 in Atlantic City, recently announced his intention to move up to SpeedSTR division action in 2014.

Perrego, Bates and Lick are among more than three dozen entries for Atlantic City, where the field has reached capacity. Entries are still being accepted for Trenton.

The blindingly fast and exceedingly nimble Champ Kart class has filled the entry list at the Atlantic City Indoor event though slots still do still exist to be part of the Trenton action. Danny Bouc of Plumsteadville, Pa., Glen Meisenhelder of Feeding Hills, Mass., Douglas Stearly of Trappe, Pa., Andrew Swisher of West Chester, Pa., and Justin Gumley of Howell, N.J. are among most prominent entrants.
