NHMS Working on Night Race for 2015
Since joining Twitter in late February, Jerry Gappens has received multiple inquiries about a night race at New Hampshire Motor Speedway.
The Executive Vice President & General Manager of NHMS tweeted today that he is working with NASCAR and broadcaster partner NBC about a night race at the 1.058 mile oval. He elaborated in an earlier post that he would seek approval from the town of Loudon, once he received approval from both parties.
New Hampshire Motor Speedway hosts hosts a variety of motorsports. The NASCAR Sprint Cup Series and NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour visit twice a year. The NASCAR Nationwide Series, NASCAR Camping World Truck Series, NASCAR K&N East Series, NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour, American-Canadian Tour visit once a year. Club racing, road course events, driving schools, Legends Cars, and Bandoleros also have events.
