Q: Who should I contact on race day with questions?

Q: Is there practice Saturday?
A: Yes, there is open practice Saturday, April 5, noon-5 p.m.

Q: Will there be fuel and tires available?
A: Yes, East Coast Speed will be selling American Racer and Hoosier tires at practice and on race day. VP Racing Fuels will also be available both days. To contact East Coast Speed, call 845.343.0688.

Q: Can I leave my hauler in the pits overnight after practice?
A: Yes, haulers can be left in the pit area following practice on Saturday. If you plan to stay in a toter-home, we will need to clear the pit area very early on Sunday morning before selling tickets.

Q: What is the National Dirt Racing League Short Track Super Series Fueled By VP?
A: The NDRL Short Track Super Series Fueled By VP is a six-race series of Modified events with a point fund approaching $30,000.  The series starts at Orange County and heads to Thunder Mountain (N.Y.) Speedway, I-88 (N.Y.) Speedway, Accord (N.Y.) Speedway, Penn Can (Pa.) Speedway and concludes with the established “Working Man’s Race” Short Track SuperNationals at I-88 Oct. 10-11. A: Pit admission for practice is $25. Grandstand admission is free.

A: Yes, camping is permitted, free of charge, on the fairgrounds.

Q: When do gates open on Sunday?
A: Pit gates open at 8 a.m.  Grandstand and drive-in gates open at 10 a.m.

Q: What is the schedule of events for Sunday?
A: The drivers’ meeting will be called at 12:40 p.m. Hot laps are set for 1:05 p.m. with racing at 2 p.m.

Q: What are the ticket prices?
A: Adult admission is $20. Seniors (65 and over) are $18. Kids 12 and under pay $2.

Q: Are the admission prices the same for the drive-in section as the grandstand?
A: Yes they are.

A: Pit admission is $35, no license required.

Q: Are there reserved seats on Sunday?
A: All seating is general admission.

A: Stacker haulers will park in the center of the pits. Turn four will be roped off to allow for better fan viewing.

Q: Are Modified teams allowed to mix American Racer and Hoosier tires?
A: Yes, so long as they are approved compounds, teams may mix and match Hoosier and American Racer tires.

Q: I haven’t pre-registered my car. Can I do it on race day?
A: Yes, you can. Entry on race day for Modifieds is only $5 more than the early entry fee ($20). There is NO entry fee for GRIT Sportsman.

Q: What are passing points and how do they work?
A: Passing points are part of a qualifying system that distributes points based on a driver’s finishing position in a heat race and the number of positions advanced. The Modifieds will be using passing points for the first time ever on Sunday.
