Kostecki to Appear at New York Auto Show

Raising Awareness For Canine Companions Program

At 14, Brodie Kostecki achieved more wins than any other driver his age in United States Auto Club racing history. Now 16 years old, Kostecki has moved up to the NASCAR K&N Pro Series East in his No. 43 Arcoplate Racing Toyota.

The native of Perth, Australia, scored his first top-10 finish in his new series on March 22 at Greenville (S.C.) Pickens Speedway.

Kostecki is also a strong supporter of Canine Companions for Independence, the nation’s largestn non-profit provider of highly-trained assistance dogs to children, adults and veterans with disabilities. What do race cars and assistance dogs have in common? Performance! NASCAR drivers want the best for their vehicles and people with disabilities need high-performing assistance dogs. Kostecki’s love for dogs and wanting to help people with disabilities is a perfect match to partner with Canine Companions for Independence.

Tireless in his support for the organization, Kostecki visits rehabilitation hospitals where Canine Companions for Independence facility dogs work as a motivational tool for people with severe injuries and birth defects.

“It’s simply amazing what these Canine Companions for Independence dogs do for people with disabilities,” said Kostecki. “Helping Canine Companions be more recognizable with the public throughout my racing career is very exciting.”

Racing fans attending the NY International Auto Show at the Javits Center in Manhattan will get the chance to meet the young driver, receive an autograph, and see his No. 43 NASCAR K&N Pro Series Toyota on April 19-20, 10:30 a.m.-8 p.m. at Booth #1614 on the Ground Floor.
