KOMA Unwind Modified Madness Series Heading to Coastal Plains Raceway Park

STATESVILLE, N.C. — Bebida Beverage Company (OTC: BBDA), (BeBevCo), a developer, manufacturer and marketer of liquid relaxation and energy products, is pleased to announce that as part of their 2014 marketing initiative, the Southern Modified Race Tour’s KOMA Unwind Modified Madness Series (@KOMAUnwindMMS) heads to Jacksonville. NC, home to Camp Lejeune, for the running of the “Semper Fi 125” on Sunday, May 25(th) .

The event marks the return to the uniquely shaped 4/10 mile asphalt track for the 600-horsepower Modifieds. The event marks race two in the inaugural season for the series, after a successful opener at Hickory Motor (N.C.) Speedway on March 22(nd) .

The Coastal Plains Raceway Park event will feature a tribute to the United States Marine Corps based at nearby Camp Lejeune and will see the “Semper Fi 125” as the feature event, along with the “Purple Heart Homes 50” for the INEX Legends Cars and a 50 lap event for the Mini Stocks.

Purple Heart Homes is founded by and for our veterans and its mission to provide housing solutions for military persons of all eras.

Many of the top Modified drivers in the south, as well as other teams from the northeast are expected to be on hand for this race.

Specialty food vendors will provide a tailgate and family-like atmosphere in the “midway.” Additionally, there will be plenty of activities to enjoy before race time, including a “kidz” zone, a bounce house, kid’s tattoos, face painting and a free driver’s autograph session. To close out the day, an explosive fireworks show set to a musical tribute for the Marines and the United States of America will commence.

“We’re very excited about the rapid growth of the KOMA Unwind Modified Madness Series and their plans for the next race at Coastal Plains,” said BeBevCo CEO Brian Weber. “As a company, we’ve always try to have humble respect for what our military units have done for us. The layout and structure that the series has put in place will give them a perfect opportunity to come to the racetrack and have a lot of fun. The series has done a magnificent job on paying attention to all aspects of the military community and we’re proud to stand behind them.”

Grandstands will open at 1:00 p.m. with the free autograph session featuring the event’s competitors set to launch at 4:45 p.m. Racing is slated for 6:00 p.m. sharp following pre-race ceremonies featuring Marines and local dignitaries. Admission for active duty Military is FREE. Dependents are only $10.00 and general admission is only $15.00 for a full day of fun and excitement. Kids 12 and under are free. $1.00 from admission proceeds will be donated to Purple Heart Homes.
