Devil’s Bowl Speedway All Wet Again

Memorial Day Special event rained out; features to be rescheduled

WEST HAVEN, VT – Rain has won again at Devil’s Bowl Speedway, giving Mother Nature her third victory in four tries this season. The Memorial Day Special event scheduled for Friday, May 23 has been cancelled due to inclement morning weather and a continued forecast of rain throughout the evening.

Devil’s Bowl Speedway is back in action on Friday, May 30 at 7:00 p.m. with the People’s United Bank 100 for the Vermont State Late Model Championship Series. The event also features the Bond Auto Parts Modified and Central Vermont Mini Stock divisions of the NASCAR Whelen All-American Series. The Renegade division has also been added to the event.

The Enduro Series race that was scheduled for May 23 has been rescheduled to Friday, June 6. The rained out feature events for the Modified, Late Model, and Mini Stock divisions will be added to other dates during the season; official rescheduling information will be announced soon.

Drivers from the Modified and Late Model divisions at Devil’s Bowl will be in action on Sunday, May 25 at Thunder Road International Speedbowl in Barre, VT, for the Mekkelsen RV Memorial Day Classic. The event will be the opening race for both the Vermont State Late Model Championship Series and the Northern Modified Challenge Series. Racing begins at 1:30 p.m.
