Mostly Sunny Skies to Greet Fans on Father’s Day for NAPA Show, Shine & Drag
OXFORD, ME — A beautiful weather Sunday is on the calendar for the NAPA Show, Shine and Drag scheduled for this Sunday, June 15th, which is Father’s Day. All early indications are that Sunday will be mostly sunny, with high temperatures in the upper 70’s.
“We are extremely excited that the weather people have forecasted a great day for our NAPA Show, Shine and Drag, stated OPS Vice President, Michael Mayberry. We have worked very hard since October to pull this show together and we feel it is going to be extremely successful.”
This year’s edition is sponsored by NAPA Auto Parts and will feature some of the best vintage cars and trucks, as well as muscle cars, hot rods, motorcycles and one lunger engines, plus drag racing will be available for anyone that would like to give it a try. Please bring your own helmet. New for this year will be a chicken and ribs BBQ, a beer garden, music, displays and a whole lot more. NAPA will have a super display under their tent for everyone as well.
The show opens to the public on Sunday at 9am sharp. For those wanting to display their vehicles for competition, the pit gates will open at 7am for registration. Drag racing will get underway at 10am. The chicken and ribs BBQ and beer garden will kick off at 11am. Award presentations will be made at 2pm.
