It’s Time…for The New York Truck Parts ‘Battle Of The Bullring 2’ At Accord Speedway Tuesday Night!

The Short Track Super Series Fueled By VP invades the Ulster County Bullring on Tuesday, August 5 for a 52-lap big-block/small-block Modified event: the richest race in track history! Competitors in the Modified ranks do battle for $5,200 to win, $1,520 for fifth, $1,020 for eighth and $520 to take the green flag, totaling more than $30,000. In addition, there is more than $1,300 in lap money, a long list of bonuses and the Joe Winne Memorial Dash for Cash paying $555 to the winner for 5 laps (all starters paid) sponsored by Jim Winchell and Dave Zubikowski.
This is event No. 4 of the six-race Short Track Super Series Fueled By VP. Andy Bachetti leads the race for the $10,014 championship.
Sportsman, Open vs. Crate 602, race 25 laps for a $1,000 payday, with $100 reserved to take the green flag. There are Crate 602 bonuses of $125, $100 and $75 for the top-three crate engines across the line. Additionally, the first Accord-sealed Crate 602 engine in the order of finish takes home an extra $100 courtesy of Hunt’s Machine.
Fan activities include a pre-race autograph session including some of the speedway’s legends (starting at 5:15), a mechanical bull, music by DJ Tim Adams and FIREWORKS. A chicken barbecue meal will also be on sale for $8 to include chicken, baked beans and macaroni salad. All drivers will receive a voucher for a free chicken barbecue meal.
Pit gates open at 4 p.m., with grandstand gates swinging open at 5 p.m. The drivers’ meeting takes place at 6 p.m., with hot laps to follow at 6:20 p.m. and the first green flag of the night at 7 p.m. The USA and Canadian national anthems will be performed live.
Adult admission is $20. Seniors (ages 65 and over) pay $18. Kids 11 and under are $5. Pit admission is $35 with no license required.
