2014 Joey Logano Hometown Showdown Driven by AutoTrader.com
The Joey Logano Foundation invites you to participate in the inaugural Joey Logano Hometown Showdown Driven by AutoTrader.com on Thursday, September 18th, 2014 at On-Track Karting in Wallingford, CT.
On-Track Karting is one of the tracks where Joey Logano’s racing career began and offers some of the longest and fastest indoor kart tracks in the country. This signature karting event will support The Connection, a nonprofit organization who assists thousands of people a month throughout Connecticut. For more than 40 years, The Connection has reunited families suffering from abuse and neglect, creating safer, healthier communities making a difference in countless lives. Proceeds from the event will go directly back to the local community to support The Connection’s Community-based Services, Advocacy and Research for Connecticut.
There are two racing opportunities during the event, including the Hometown Showdown which is the feature team race and the Dash 4 Cash which is an individual race.
Limited spots are available for each race so sign up now and reserve your spot to compete against NASCAR Sprint Cup Series driver Joey Logano and others in exciting go-kart racing competition for a great cause!
Race Participation Opportunities
Hometown Showdown (Team Race)
This event will consist of 28 teams of four (4) who will race in qualifying heats. The top five (5) finishing positions from each heat will then go on to race against each other in a final showdown race to determine the Championship team. Joey Logano will be competing in each race leading up to the final round.

In addition to the team event, the Joey Logano Foundation will host a ten (10) lap shootout where 15 racers will compete for a winning cash purse of over $5,000.

Spectator Passes
Interested in being part of the inaugural Joey Logano Hometown Showdown but don’t want to drive? No problem! We have a very limited quantity of spectator passes for this private event. Spectators will have the opportunity to watch the event and have access to an autograph session with Joey Logano during the evening.
This family-friendly event is only $50 per adult spectator and $20 per child spectator (15 and under). Your registration fee will be used to give back to the local community through the Joey Logano Foundation and The Connection.
