Leeck Heads to Hoosier State Looking to Continue Recent Success
Huntersville, NC (September 24, 2014) – Heading to Lucas Oil Raceway in Clermont, Indiana, Dan Leeck leads the JEGS/CRA All-Star Tour Presented by Chevrolet Performance points standings by 57 markers over new second-place competitor, Grant Quinlan.
Last Saturday, Leeck posted a fourth-place finish at the Michigan Cup 100 Presented by JEGS.com at the high-banked Springport Motor Speedway in Springport, Michigan. That run was his fifth straight top-five finish and eight overall this season.
Leeck and the No. 12 Mr. Asphalt Chevrolet team head to the McGunegill Engine Performance CRA Fall Brawl 100 at the fast 5/8 mile Lucas Oil Raceway. Still seeking that elusive first victory in JEGS/CRA All-Star Tour competition, Leeck knows his time in victory lane is coming.
“We have been so close to getting to victory lane this season,” Leeck said. “It just hasn’t happened yet. I know that it is coming though. We are fast every week.”
Just two races remain in the season-long chase for the championship. After racing at Lucas Oil Raceway, the Mr. Asphalt Chevrolet team will head to the famed high-banks of Winchester Speedway in Winchester, Indiana as part of the 43rd Annual Winchester 400 weekend which runs from October 10th – 12th.
Dan Leeck’s black and orange No. 12 Chevrolet SS carries sponsorship from Mr. Asphalt, Diesel Truck Sales, Bridge Lake Auto and Truck Parts and Wellman Excavating.
