Hirschman to Miss Fall Final at Stafford
Matt Hirschman of Northampton, PA will not race in the NAPA Fall Final at Stafford Motor Speedway this weekend, citing engine problems and damage. Hirschman crashed out of Saturday’s F.W. Webb 100 at New Hampshire Motor Speedway on lap 24.
“The Darling 52 team can not field a competitive car at Stafford this week,” Hirschman said. “Instead I will race closer to home this week but still finish the season at Thompson in a few weeks.”
Hirschman is second in the Race of Champions Modified Tour standings to Chuck Hossfeld. The Fall Brawl is at Shangri-La II Motor Speedway on Sunday. The NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour season finale is the Sunoco World Series at Thompson next month.
