JUST THE FACTS: 140 BUZZ Welcomes Hunter Baize
Huntersville, NC (October 16, 2014) – 140 BUZZ is pleased to announce the addition of Kentucky teenager Hunter Baize to its driver lineup. Baize, 16, currently competes in the Late Model ranks of racing, most recently finishing fifth in the JEGS/CRA All-Stars Tour Presented by Chevrolet Performance this season.
Baize is no stranger to success, however. In 2012, he won Rookie of the Year honors and brought home a second place points finish in the Pro National Baby Grand Stock Car Series. This past season Baize, driving for VanDoorn Racing Development, won his first career JEGS/CRA All-Stars Tour race at Columbus (OH) Speedway.
“I’m very excited about signing with 140 BUZZ,” Baize said. “Mike and his team do a fantastic job and we’re looking forward to working with them.”
“Hunter has the necessary ingredients to achieve success and to clear a path towards NASCAR,” said Calinoff, “he has a lot of speed and a great personality. I’m excited to be part of his future.”
140 BUZZ is full-service public relations and marketing firm owned by NASCAR Notable Mike Calinoff. Baize also will also be a part of the Mike Calinoff Driver Development program. As a driver begins to elevate their career to the next level, they face many distinct challenges. As in any journey, having a plan in place and aligning with the right people will help minimize those challenges and carve out a path for success.
Hunter Baize Racing is hard at work preparing for the 2015 season. An announcement about their 2015 plans will come shortly.
