Dan Leeck Races His Way Into the Snowflake 100
Huntersville, North Carolina (December 9, 2014) – Dan Leeck has raced in several prestigious races, but none quite like the Allen Turner Hyundai Snowflake 100. The 2014 JEGS/CRA All-Stars Tour Champion made the trip south from Birch Run, Michigan to Pensacola, Florida to try his hand against the country’s best.
Leeck raced his way into the 100-lap main event via the 50-lap last-chance qualifying race. Starting seventh and in need of a fourth place finish to transfer; he raced his way to an impressive second place finish. Leeck started the feature 32nd and would move up to 22nd in the first quarter of the race. He would go on to finish 18th.
“Although I would’ve liked to run a little better in the feature, it was a very success trip for us,” Leeck said. “The best of the best run this race, making the race is something to be proud of. I can’t thank my sponsors, family and friends enough for the support. 2014 was an incredible season.”
The Allen Turner Hyundai Snowflake 100 has become one of the most prestigious Pro Late Model races in the country. Highlighting Saturday’s festivities during Snowball Derby weekend, the Snowflake 100 draws teams and drivers from all over the country. The No. 12 Dan Leeck Racing carried sponsorship from Helm Electric, Beyea Custom Headers, Mr. Asphalt, Wellman Excavating, Bridge Lake Auto and Repair, Diesel Truck Sales, Checkered Flag Graphics, Hightower Racing Transmission and Ilmor/PHM Engines.
