Christopher, Rudolph & Jankowiak are Fastest In Three TQ Midget Friday Afternoon Battle Of Trenton Practices; Races Set for Tonight & Saturday at Trenton’s Sun Center
TRENTON, NJ December 19, 2014 . . . Ted Christopher, Erick Rudolph and Andy Janowiak set the pace Friday afternoon, December 19 in practice for tonight’s Three Quarter Midget Twin Twenty lap features and Saturday’s Battle Of Trenton TQ Midget headliner.
Tickets are still available for both Friday and Saturday night races at the Sun National Bank Center box office.
Jankowiak was fastest overall, in the third session with a lap of 7.185 seconds.
Jimmy Blewett’s practices were also noteworthy; he was second in the second and third sessions behind Rudolph and Jankowiak respectively,
The practice sessions were incident free although many competitors were reporting a ‘loose condition’ in their race cars.
Friday night racing starts at 7:30 PM and Saturday’s card one half hour earlier at 7:00 PMsharp.
Fifty nine TQ Midgets signed in for the two days of action. Fast timers Jankowiak and Rudolph were among the winners in the Battle Of Trenton I in February, 2014.
Champ Karts are also on the Friday docket; Lentini Auto Salvage Slingshots are the Saturdayco-feature with the TQs.
