Windom, MN (December 22, 2014) – The National Sprint League is receiving team memberships on a weekly basis. The deadline for $200 memberships with the NSL is Friday, January 16. Members receive the benefits of insurance, reduced pit passes for the 2015 season, contingency awards, the opportunity to sell merchandise in the series merchandise trailer, and more. The first fifteen memberships received in the NSL office in Windom, Minnesota, will be eligible for tow money at the series’ first event, scheduled for Saturday, April 11 at 34 Raceway in West Burlington, Iowa.

In addition, point fund eligibility requirements have been announced. Drivers and owners participating in 100% of NSL events (and finishing in the top fifteen) will be eligible to receive 100% of their share of the $350,000 point fund. If for some reason a team misses one event, they are eligible for 95% of their share. If they would miss two shows, their share will be 90%, missing three would be 85%, missing four would be 80% and missing five would be 75% of their share. Again, the driver or owner must finish in the top fifteen in season points to be eligible for the point fund, and miss no more than five events.

Three driver contingency awards have been announced already, and several others are in the works! The “Brown & Miller Racing Solutions 3 for 3 Award” offers any driver finishing on the podium in three straight races $333 in product. The “KSE Hard-charger Award” offers a $50 product certificate to the hard-charger in each night’s feature and the season hard-charger will receive a KSE Steering Pump.
