Bonsignore Adds Sunoco Modifieds to 2015 Plans
Fresh off Stafford Motor Speedway’s announcement that Justin Bonsignore would compete in the SK Modifieds®, Bosignore will continue his relationship with SPAFCO and Hall of Famer Art Barry next season in the No. 21 car for the the NASCAR Whelen All-American Series Sunoco Modified races at Thompson Speedway Motorsports Park. The Holtsville, NY driver will continue driving the No. 51 M3 Technology car on the NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour.Bonsignore, the reigning Valenti Modified Racing Series champion, will replace defending his VMRS title with a focus on SK Modifieds next season. Bonsignore won three NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour races last year for Ken Massa, including two of the three events at Thompson. Bonsignore captured the VMRS crown with one win, 12 top fives, and 13 top tens in 17 races.
“With the travel friendly schedule that Thompson has for 2015, we are going to attempt to try and run all 7 of their shows as well with the SK team, easy decision with the extra money, extra distance, and cool format races that Josh Vanada, Scott Tapley and everyone at TMSP put together. Lots of traveling and lots of racing, just need this winter to hurry up, hoping to have some more good news in a few weeks!”
