Zachem Files First Tri-Track Entry – YankeeRacer.com

Zachem Files First Tri-Track Entry

It is about six weeks before the official entry deadline of March 1, but the first of many entries for the 2015 Tri-Track Modified series has been submitted. Preston, Connecticut’s Max Zachem has entered all three races and the point fund. Max has entered the Tri-Track races at Lee USA Speedway May 17, Monadnock Speedway June 13th and Open Wheel Wednesday at the Seekonk Speedway July 1.

Max will not be in his familiar #20 that he has driven on the VMRS tour, but rather the San Mertz #6 that he ran that the 2014 Turkey Derby at Wall Township Speedway. Sponsorship from Justgetdirty.comGrafitti Work Sign Company and Morningside Lawn and Landscape will help fund the Mertz #6 Tri-Track effort.

The three race series is shaping up to be bigger and better than the 2014 version. $5,000.00 to win at Lee and Monadnock plus a hefty $10,000 to win at the Seekonk Open Wheel Wednesday race have once again got the entire modified racing community buzzing. Each race will have a $5,000.00 non-qualifiers race paying $800.00 to win. Laps are being sold at $50.00 per lap per race will pay the purse for the non qualifiers races. Contact Jim (James Schaefer) on Facebook to reserve your lap or email him at JS8x@aol.com.

Not only does each race in the Tri-Track series pay well, but if drivers are entered for all three races by the March 1 deadline they can share in the $10,000.00 point fund. Over $130,000.00 will be up for grabs at the three races and the accompanying point fund.

But wait, it gets better, Jim Schaefer the LImodmaniac has created the 3,000 challenge to potentially add $5,000.00 to the winner’s share at Lee USA Speedway and Monadnock Speedway. If 3,000 paying front and back gate patrons show up at Lee USA Speedway and Monadnock Speedway races Jim will write a check for an additional $5,000.00 to the winner on the spot. If 3,000 people attend the 2 races that will bump up the winners share to $10,000.00 at all three races.

Make your plans now to be at these three historic races now, Sunday May 17 at the Lee USA Speedway, Saturday June 13 at the Monadnock Speedway and Wednesday July 1 at the Seekonk Speedway.
