Lime Rock Park Names New Marketing Chief
LAKEVILLE, Conn. (January 26, 2015) – Christine DeMichael has joined the Lime Rock Park team as director of marketing.
Most recently the senior manager of marketing and event activation for NASCAR, prior to joining NASCAR DeMichael spent 14 years with Walt Disney Parks and Resorts in marketing and production management.
DeMichael comes to Lime Rock Park with an extensive knowledge of event execution, marketing and consumer intelligence. She will oversee marketing for the Lime Rock Park brand, its major events, special events, and the private Lime Rock Drivers Club.
DeMichael graduated from the University of Florida (“Go Gators!”) with a degree in Journalism and Communications, and a specialization in Photojournalism. Over the last six years, she has been very active in community charities including being on the board of directors for the Junior Service League of DeLand, Fla., Easter Seals and the Neighborhood Center.
“As I take the reins from Renea Dayton [who opened her own business in New York], my plan is to continue the winning tradition, especially as Lime Rock Park embarks on its new era. We will continue to make sure Lime Rock is the most fan-friendly motorsports venue in America. I couldn’t be more excited about this opportunity.”
Christine and James DeMichael have been married for 13 years. Christine’s step-daughter attends the University of Central Florida (“Go Knights!”).
