Mr. Rooter Joins Stafford Speedway Contingency Program as First Place Sponsor for Both Late Model and Limited Late Model Divisions
Stafford Springs, CT — When the green flag is unfurled on the 2015 NASCAR Whelen All-American Series season at Stafford Motor Speedway, drivers in the Late Model and Limited Late Model divisions will have extra incentive to drive their cars into NAPA Victory Lane each Friday night. Mr. Rooter has become the newest member of Stafford’s Contingency Program and they will furnish each Late Model and Limited Late Model feature winner with a $125 bonus.
“I’m excited about being involved with Stafford, I think it’s the best track out there,” said Vinny Beedle, owner of Mr. Rooter Plumbing Services. “I believe this is a great opportunity for us. I think everyone has slighted the Late Model and Limited Late Model divisions but they put on a great show. I helped Norm Sears out last year with buying some tires and I wanted to keep a low profile because I was feeling my way around the paddock area and seeing if Stafford was a track that I wanted to be involved with. I’ve been in racing for about 20 years now and I was involved with a lot of racing out in the Midwest. After taking the last few years off, I’m coming back with Mr. Rooter and we’re a player in the local racing game. We’re a Connecticut company and we’re a big supporter of racing in one fashion or another. I think that being involved with Stafford Speedway will be a big benefit for Mr. Rooter.”
“We’re happy to welcome Mr. Rooter to our family of contingency sponsors,” said Mark Arute, COO/GM of Stafford Speedway. “Vinny Beedle has been a longtime supporter in the world of motorsports and with all the different forms of racing that he has been involved with in the past as well as the present, it’s obvious that he has a great passion. It’s definitely a benefit for our Late Model and Limited Late Model drivers to have Vinny supporting them and we hope this is just the beginning of a long association.”
The race to get to NAPA Victory Lane last season was tight in both full fendered divisions. The Late Model division had 8 different winners in 17 races while the Limited Late Model division had a whopping 10 different winners in 18 races. Eventual 2014 track champions Adam Gray and Andrew Hayes led the Late Model and Limited Late Model ranks with 6 and 4 feature wins respectively.
Mr. Rooter is a full service plumbing and drain cleaning company and fans can find their local Mr. Rooter by visiting www.mrrooter.com and entering their zip code in the search box.
The first opportunity for Late Model and Limited Late Model drivers to collect a Mr. Rooter contingency bonus will be during the 44th Annual NAPA Auto Parts Spring Sizzler, which gets underway Friday, April 24 with a practice session for Stafford’s weekly divisions. The practice session will be open to the public at no charge. Action continues on Saturday, April 25 with Coors Light Pole Qualifying for the Whelen Modified Tour cars, along with heat and consolation races for Stafford’s weekly divisions, the U.S. Legend Cars, and the Mr. Rooter New England Truck Series. Saturday will wrap up with feature events for the SK Light, Limited Late Model, DARE Stock, Legend Cars, and Mr. Rooter New England Truck Series divisions. The Sizzler continues on Sunday, April 26 with the famous NAPA Auto Parts Pit Party followed by Stafford’s SK Modifieds® and Late Models joining the Whelen Modified Tour in feature action.
