Precise Racing Products Sponsors DCRP Sprint Cars!

DODGE CITY, Kan. (March 11, 2015) – With Sprint Cars becoming an even bigger part of the Dodge City Raceway Park slate of events in 2015, Precise Racing Products has signed on as title sponsor of the DCRP Sprint Car title chase.

Seven events are slated to count towards the DCRP Sprint Car championship, beginning with the track’s season opener on Saturday night, April 11.

All three DCRP Sprint Cars cards (April 11, April 25 and June 13) and the four URSS events (May 9, June 27, July 24 and September 26) will count toward the track’s DCRP Sprint Car championship.

The DCRP Sprint Cars compete under the same set of technical rules as URSS with the exception that a 5×5 top-wing will be permitted for the three DCRP-only events atop the 3/8-mile clay oval.

Drivers must compete in all seven scheduled events to be eligible for the Precise Racing Products DCRP Sprint Car points fund.

Located at 3801 W. Pawnee in Wichita, KS, Precise Racing Products offers parts and tires for all forms of racing.  Visit the store or order online at www.preciseracing.com.

While the DCRP Sprint Cars are in action for seven of the track’s 15 scheduled nights of competition in 2015, other Sprint Car action on the slate this year includes the World of Outlaws Boothill Showdown on July 3 and 4, the Steve King Memorial featuring NCRA Sprint Cars on June 27 with the NCRA forces also making a May 30 stop at DCRP and then the final leg of the USAC Southwest non-wing Sprint Car Freedom Tour on August 22.

Things get under way at Dodge City Raceway Park with an open practice on Saturday, April 4, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. after a car show at the Village Square Mall earlier that day from 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

The season officially fires off one week later on Saturday, April 11, with all five of the track’s championship chase divisions including the DCRP Sprint Cars, IMCA Modifieds, IMCA Sport Modifieds, IMCA Stock Cars and IMCA Hobby Stocks in action.
