Zacharias to Pilot NEMA Lite at Chemung
Jimmy Zacharias is unsure of his plans for this year, aside from a part-time TQ Midget ride.
The four-time Modified track champion will race a Northeastern Midget Association (NEMA) Lite at the Chemung (NY) Speedrome. The May 22 race will be the inaugural event for the club’s two divisions there. They will race the next night at Evans Mills (NY) Motorsports Park.
Zacharias described the 1/3 mile oval as “tight corners, decent sized straightaways, (a) fun little track.” He expects the Midgets “will be fast there for sure.”
