(Middlebourne, WVa.) – Tyler County Speedway will roar to life with the return of the popular, UFO Championship Series this July when the Super Late Model division enters the ‘Bullring’ for a pair of $5,000 to win A-Mains. To further enhance the weekend experience ASI Racewear of Patchogue, NY has partnered with race officials to add a bonus to any race team who can grace victory lane after both Late Model main events. A $2,000 cash bonus dubbed the ASI Racewear ‘Alien Annihilation Award’ will push the possible Late Model winnings to $12,000 during the weekend.
On Friday July 10th the UFO Championship will mark ‘The Bullring’ as their classified playground where the ‘racing aliens’ of the UFO Super Late Model ranks will run for a pill draw, 44 lap, $5,000 to win main event. Then on Saturday July 11th the UFO Late Models will be back in action but with a unique twist. In similar twin fashion, Friday’s top twelve feature finishers will forgo preliminary heat races and line up for the finale night feature on a 1st -12th invert procedure. The remaining field will redraw for heat race starting spots and battle wheel to wheel for the left over positions.

The hosting venue; The Tyler County Speedway in Middlebourne, WV is a ¼ mile dirt oval nestled in the hills of scenic West Virginia along the historic Middle Island Creek. On site camping makes the Tyler County Speedway/Fairgrounds a race fans vacation destination year after year. Lots of great camping available including primitive or full hook ups.
