Canadian Tire Motorsports Park To Host Opener On Sunday
WHAT TO WATCH FOR
• The NASCAR Canadian Tire Series presented by Mobil 1 gets its 2015 season underway this weekend with the running of the Clarington 200 at Canadian Tire Motorsport Park in Bowmanville, Ontario. L.P. Dumoulin returns to defend his series championship and improve on a fourth-place finish in last year’s opener while Andrew Ranger will look for a third-consecutive pole at CTMP, where he set the track record in this event a year ago.
• The NASCAR K&N Pro Series East & West will once again join forces in the first of two combination events on the 2015 schedule this Saturday night at Iowa Speedway. The Casey’s General Store 150 will bring the best drivers from both divisions together for another race. Last year’s winner and NKNPSE champion Ben Rhodes will be competing in the NASCAR Xfinity Series race and will not defend his title opening the door for one of the young guns to take the checkered flag home. Leading contenders include William Byron, Austin Hill and Kyle Benjamin from the East while Noah Gragson enters this weekend’s race fresh off his win at Tucson two weeks ago.
• The NASCAR Mexico Series will return to action this Sunday for the first of two visits this season to Autódromo del Ecocentro de la Unión Ganadera in Querétaro, Mexico. The Queretana 200 will be the fourth race of the 2015 season and Rubén Rovelo will be going for his third consecutive win. Rovelo finished eighth in this race last season.

NASCAR WHELEN ALL-AMERICAN SERIES
• The NASCAR Whelen All-American Series will have its final opening weekend of the 2015 season when I-25 in Pueblo, Colorado opens its season this Saturday night. Five divisions will compete on the tight quarter-mile oval track. This will be the first year the track, which opened in 1963, has operated under NASCAR sanctioning.
