RH2 Doubles Purse for NEMST Return to Speedbowl

Texas Roadhouse North East Mini Stock Tour presented by Twisted Tea

For the fifth straight season the North East Mini Stock Tour, along with its sponsors Texas Roadhouse and Twisted Tea will be making its mid-season trek to the New London-Waterford Speedbowl. Numerous winners from as far as Maine and Northern New Hampshire have made the long drive to southern Connecticut and taken the winner’s trophy home.

For the 5th anniversary longtime NEMST support RH2Way.com has offered to double the winner’s share of the event purse making the push to win that much stronger. $700 to win is the most ever offered for an NEMST event in the state of Connecticut. 40 cars attempted to qualify for last years NEMST event at the Speedbowl.

Toby Wells has been the king of 3/8 mile tracks sweeping wins at Lee, Waterford, and Wiscasset in the recent seasons in NEMST competition. However for 2015 many teams have stepped up their programs with Tim Collins, Nick Maniatis, Jake Rheaume, Justin Trombley, and hometown drivers of Glen Thomas and Pete Zakarite beating on the back door of Wells forcing him to push his car harder than before in the first 3 events of the season.

To see one of your favorites drive to the front in the NEMST this weekend drive down to NLW Speedbowl on June 6 for one of the largest mini stock fields in New England! www.northeastministocktour.com for additional tour information or www.speedbowlct.com for track specific information.
