ACT Oxford Plains 150 Postponed
Waterbury, VT – The American-Canadian Tour (ACT) Oxford Plains 150 at the Oxford Plains Speedway in Oxford, ME has been postponed due to impending inclement weather. The event has been rescheduled for Saturday, July 25.
The classic championship battle shaping up between New Hampshire veterans Wayne Helliwell Jr. and Joey Polewarczyk Jr. will go on hold until July 25. Helliwell currently holds a 17-point margin over “Joey Pole”, with each driver winning three events so far on the 2015 season.
ACT now sets its sights on the International 500 at Airborne Park Speedway in Plattsburgh, NY on Saturday, July 18 and Sunday, July 19. The doubleheader between the ACT Late Models and the Pro All Stars Series (PASS) Super Late Models will feature twin 200-lap features with more than $110,000 in posted awards. Many of the top Late Model drivers around the region have already entered the event, including Helliwell, Pole, 8-time ACT Champion Brian Hoar, and two-time Thunder Road Champion Nick Sweet, along with PASS standouts Ben and Mike Rowe, Johnny Clark, and Joey Doiron.
