Technical Memorandum Posted to Late Model Rules

Late Model teams, please take note of the following technical memorandum issued by Race Director, Scott Tapley.

“The following is an addition to the existing rule regarding Ignition (Technical, 11.b.v):

The ignition box and its components (i.e. rev limiter chip, etc.) must be covered with a clear polycarbonate cover. The clear polycarbonate cover installation and size must be acceptable to NASCAR Officials. The ignition system components, including wiring and connectors must be visible from above and not accessible by the driver at any time while in competition.”
