BECHTELSVILLE, PA July 22, 2015 . . . Competition is tough at Grandview Speedway this season, tougher than usual. There have been two dozen different feature winners. With just seven more NASCAR and track point events left in the Saturday night stock car racing season, competition is bound to become even tougher as racers try to improve their point positions and earn some of the lucrative point fund money being offered. Grandview continues to be one of the few weekly short tracks in the nation that offers two-point funds for the racers.

As the season progresses new names are earning strong finishing positions in the NASCAR stock car racing at the features the T.P.Trailers 358 Modifieds, BRC Late Models and Sportsman stock cars. A full slate of racing on Atlas Paving Night will be topped off by a 30-lap feature for the Modifieds with 28 cars taking the green, a 25-lapper for the Late Models and a 25-lap race for the Sportsman. Racing action gets starting at 7:30 p.m.

Atlas Paving will have their sponsored driver Duane Howard taking part in the very popular Low Down and Dirty Meet & Greet that takes place at the main gate at the same time the gates open for spectators. Sportsman point leader Brett Kressley will also be part of the Meet & Greet giving fans a great opportunity meet these two standout racing talents, collect autographs and take photos.

Fans are reminded to continue to participate in the Ingersoll Rand Texting Contest. From 11 a.m. each Saturday to 11 p.m. on Sunday fans are invited to text IRToolsGRV to 313131 to chance to win an IR prize pack.

Adult admission for the Saturday night events is $15 while youngsters under 12 are admitted free. Active military are admitted free with proper ID.

Then on Tuesday, July 28th, 7:30 p.m. the NAPA Auto Stores Thunder on the Hill Series features the always exciting 410 Sprint racers and the T.P.Trailers 358 Modifieds in an action packed doubleheader. Adult admission is $25, youngsters pay $10 and kids 6 and under are admitted FREE. Spectator gates open at5 p.m. There is a Thursday, July 30th rain date in place.

WNPV-1440AM Radio will sponsor the Saturday, August 1st tripleheader card of NASCAR stock car racing. The Lansdale, PA radio station is the area NASCAR station and has been a huge supporter of Grandview Speedway over the years. During the evening, fans will have a chance to win tickets for the Pocono Raceway Verizon IndyCar race.

Each Monday morning the station offers a rundown ofSaturday night Grandview action with track public relations manager Ernie Saxton.

Sunday, August 2nd, 1 p.m. the Outlaw Enduro and Blast from the Past Vintage racers return to action.

One of the biggest events of the NASCAR racing season is set for Saturday, August 8th when the Forrest Rogers Memorial presented by Pioneer Pole Buildings takes place. The night is topped off by a 50-lapper for the NASCAR T.P.Trailers 358 Modifieds paying $10,000 to win plus perks from T.P.Trailers and VP Racing Fuels. The BRC Late Models and Sportsman will also be a part of the big night of racing. Adult admission will be $25 while youngster 6 to 12 will pay $5 and younger children will be admitted free.
