FVP National Sprint League Returns to Eagle for the Nebraska Cup Friday

Windom, MN (September 8, 2015) – The FVP National Sprint League returns to the scene of one of its most exciting feature events this Friday night, September 11!  The Nebraska Cup awaits at the Eagle Raceway near Eagle, Nebraska.  In May, under one second separated winner Brad Loyet from the third place car of Danny Lasoski, with Brian Brown in between.  The final two laps saw a lead change no less than four times!

The Nebraska Cup will feature 410 sprint cars for the first time, and brings another traditional event to the NSL calendar.  This year, the champion will be paid $3,911 as the program also honors the fallen heroes of 9/11.  The all sprint show will also feature the Sprint Series of Nebraska IMCA Racesaver Sprints as they fight for their $911 prize.

Brian Brown of Grain Valley, Missouri, is the defending Nebraska Cup champion, and is coming off his first NSL win last Sunday night at the Huset’s Speedway.  He leads the expected NSL drivers into Eagle.  Danny Lasoski from Dovere, Missouri, was the 2013 Nebraska Cup champ, and is the current point leader in the series.  He also leads the series in wins (9), top fives (20) and top tens (23).

Other drivers expected to join the “Show Me State” drivers at Eagle include 2014 Knoxville Raceway champion, Ian Madsen, two-time “King of California”, Tim Kaeding, seven-time Knoxville Raceway champion, Terry McCarl, seven-time IRA champion, Bill Balog, two-time USAC sprint and midget champion and 2015 Indy 500 starter, Bryan Clauson, 2015 Knoxville Nationals World Challenge winner, Lynton Jeffrey, Austin McCarl, 2013 Huset’s Speedway 360 champion, Matt Juhl, Tasker Phillips, Nebraska’s own, Dakota Hendrickson and more!

Join the stars of the FVP National Sprint League Friday as they dice it up on the high banks at Eagle Raceway!

Tickets are just $18 for adults (13+), $5 for ages 6-12, and 5 and under are FREE!  Sprint Series of Nebraska IMCA Racesaver Sprints are also on the card!  Front gates open at 6 p.m. with racing at 7:30 p.m.!
