Thompson Residents Invited to SCCA Race on October 9 & 10
Thompson Speedway Motorsports Park (TSMP) is inviting all Thompson, CT residents to the Sports Car Club of America race on October 9 & 10, with free admission.
The John Stim Memorial and NERRC Championship Finale will take place Friday, October 9 and Saturday, October 10 and will feature a wide variety of sports cars, open wheel cars, vintage race cars, and GT cars racing on the 1.7 mile road course at TSMP. With two full days of racing action, this event will see close to 100 cars take to the track. Admission to the race also includes access to the pit area for spectators of all ages, giving fans an up close look at the race cars participating in the event.
Tickets are also available for non-Thompson residents, and can be purchased at the gate on Friday or Saturday for $15.00 for adults, $10.00 for Seniors, US Military or Veterans, or $5.00 for Juniors. As always, kids 5 and under are free. Thompson residents must show valid ID or proof of residence in order to receive free admission.
