J.J. Hickle Captures ASCS Frontier Victory at Billings

BILLINGS, Mont. (September 18, 2015) In his first trip back to the ASCS Frontier Region since injuring his back earlier in the season, Washington’s J.J. Hickle wasted no time returning to Victory Lane with the Montana based region at the Billings Motorsports Park.

Winning the opening night of the Dan Laber Memorial, the defending champion of the memorial race at the Billings Motorsports Park piloted the Bekkevar Logging and Trucking No. 3 to a $2,000 score after starting fourth in the lineup.

Phil Dietz, who currently leads the Frontier Regional standings, crossed second with Canada’s Skylar Gee taking the final podium step. Travis Rilat from 11th was fourth with Cam Smith completing the top-five.

D.J. Brink was sixth from 10th with Bryan Brown, Josh Ostermiller, Kelly Miller, and Reece Goetz making up the top-ten.

The Dan Laber Memorial concludes on Saturday, September 19, 2015 with another $2,000 up for grabs in Saturday’s A-Feature event. For more information on the event, log onto http://www.bmpspeedway.com.
