PRACTICE: McReynolds Fastest at Roseville
Tops The Charts In Both K&N West Practice Sessions
ROSEVILLE, Calif. – Brandon McReynolds is on the hunt for his third NASCAR K&N Pro Series West victory.
Based on the two practice sessions for the Toyota/NAPA Auto Parts 150 presented by Axle Crutch, he has a good chance at accomplishing the feat.
McReynolds and his No. 16 NAPA Auto Parts Toyota were the fastest in both practice sessions at California’s All American Speedway Saturday afternoon. He threw down the fastest time of the day early in the first session with a fast lap of 13.670 seconds (87.696 mph) and went on to lead the final practice session with a time 13.678 seconds (87.644 mph).
Rookie Alex Schutte, driver of the No. 21 Proficio Chevrolet, was second fastest overall with 13.700 seconds (87.504 mph), while newcomer Eddie Cheever, in the No. 00 Trico, Inc. Toyota, was the third fastest at 13.714 seconds (87.414 mph).
Chris Eggleston and Gracin Raz rounded out the top five. While Ryan Partridge, James Bickford, Dylan Cappello, Cole Moore and Noah Gragson completed the top 10.
Qualifying for the Toyota/NAPA Auto Parts 150 is scheduled to begin at 5:30 p.m. PT.
