Stafford Motor Speedway Releases Its 2016 Limited Late Model Rulebook
Stafford Springs, CT — With the 2015 NASCAR Whelen All-American Series season entered into the history books, Stafford Speedway officials are gearing up for the 2016 season with the release of new rulebooks. The track has already released its 2016 rules for its premier SK Modified® division along with the Late Model and SK Light Modified divisions and that trend continues with the release of the 2016 Limited Late Model rulebook. The 2016 Ltd. Late Model rulebook has a single rule change from the 2015 season with several clarifications and adjustments.
The single rule rule change from the 2015 season deals with the Track Width for tires. Per rule 20F-12.6, the maximum track width measured outside the tire bulge at wheel center height will increase from 72½” to 74¾”.
The clarifications and adjustments to the Limited Late Model rules are as follows:
Per rule 20F-5 General Engine Requirements, the maximum overbore for the GM Performance Factory Sealed Circle Track Crate Engine will be .030”.
Per Rule 20F-5A, the Crate Engine “A” option is a standard factory bore engine
Per Rule 20F-5B, the Crate Engine “B” option is from a .020” overbore up to a .030” overbore.
