F1600, F2000 and Atlantic Winter Exhibition Series Announced
Salem, NH – Formula Race Promotions today announced its 2016 winter exhibition program which will take place in Florida in February for the F1600, F2000 and Atlantic Championship Series. The expanded winter exhibition swing will visit two Florida race tracks, Palm Beach and Sebring, back-to-back, before the seven-weekend 2016 season opens in April.
The Series will double its exhibition in Florida offering with a trip to Palm Beach in February paired with a visit to Sebring the next weekend. The expansion is based on feedback solicited from active participants in all three Series.
“This winter schedule keeps with our philosophy of offering significant track time at strong venues,” said Formula Race Promotions co-owner Robert Wright.
Palm Beach will run February 11-13, with Sebring following February 19-21. The format of each event will include three hours of track time for F1600, F2000 and Atlantic competitors. Each series will get one race per event, as well as qualifying and significant practice and testing time.
Formula Race Promotions will announce its full 2016 calendar shortly.
