The Passing of a Legend…
Seekonk and the racing world mourns the loss of one of racing’s favorite sons, Ron Bouchard.
Ron became Seekonk Speedways first 5-time champion while amassing 29 wins. We always kept fans on the edge of their seat with his outside lane moves on his way to the front. he is one of the most successful drivers to come out of Seekonk and was part of the inaugural Wall of Fame Class in 2013. Ron also competed in the NASCAR Cup series winning at Talladega. Even tasting success he was right back racing in front of his weekly fans at Seekonk just a few short weeks later.
The racing world will miss his never give up attitude and winning smile. Ron Bouchard was truly a great racer and person and will be missed by all.
