New Race Director & Pits Manager Named at Claremont Speedway for 2016

ANNOUNCEMENTS!

We are happy to welcome two new additions to our Claremont Speedway crew.

Rick Chambers will be joining Claremont Speedway as our Race Director for the 2016 Season. Rick spent a handful of years working on Jack Bateman’s Modified Racing Series. During his time on the series Rick worked as a Spotter, as the Head Tech, and also spent two years as Race Director on the Series. Rick also spends his free time as a referee for local sporting events. Rick brings a strong background with him to this role. Race competitors and race fans can be assured that the quality of the racing at Claremont Speedway will be the best around next year!

We would also like to Welcome Ken Silva to Claremont Speedway’s staff. Ken will be working as our Pits Manager in 2016. Ken has spent many years in the racing industry. Prior to moving to the area, Ken spent many years working at Seekonk Speedway in various roles. Most recently Ken has been working at Monadnock in the Handicapper role. Ken will be communicating information to the race teams, and ensuring that everything in the pits flows nicely to ensure an efficient race event occurs.

There will be a meeting scheduled prior to the start of the season so that the competitors can meet our new crew.

We are very excited to have these fine gentlemen joining our team next year. Please join us in welcoming them aboard.

Merry Christmas to our entire racing community. May you all have a safe and wonderful holiday season.

-Drew Davis, Track Manager
