Mr. Rooter Plumbing Returns to Stafford Speedway Contingency Program
Stafford Springs, CT — For the second consecutive year, Stafford Motor Speedway’s Late Model and Limited Late Model drivers will be racing to take home some extra cash thanks to Mr. Rooter Plumbing. Mr. Rooter contributed a total of $2,750 to both the Late Model and Limited Late Model teams during the 2015 season for a total of $5,500 and they will once again provide a weekly bonus of $125 to each Late Model and Limited Late Model feature winner.
“I‘m excited about going into my second year with the contingency program at Stafford Speedway,” said Vinny Beedle, owner of Mr. Rooter. “I think it’s important that these two divisions get some support, it’s not only about the open wheel divisions. The full fender divisions put on a great show and I’m looking forward to watching some more exciting races this season.”
The race to get to NAPA Victory Lane last season was tight in both full fendered divisions. Even though eventual track champion Michael Bennett and Tom Fearn combined to win 17 of the 22 Late Model races last season, there were still 6 different feature winners while the Limited Late Model division boasted 9 different feature winners. Fearn led all Late Model drivers with 10 wins while 2015 champion Al Saunders and 2014 champion Andrew Hayes tied for the Limited Late Model lead with 5 wins each.

Action continues on Saturday, April 23 with Coors Light Pole Qualifying for the Whelen Modified Tour cars, along with heat and consolation races for Stafford’s weekly divisions, the U.S. Legend Cars, and the Mr. Rooter Open Comp Truck race. The Sizzler continues on Sunday, April 24 with the famous NAPA Auto Parts Pit Party followed by Stafford’s SK Modifieds® and Late Models joining the Whelen Modified Tour in feature action.
