2017 Chili Bowl Dates Confirmed; Ticket Renewal Begins March 2, 2016
TULSA, Okla. (February 26, 2016) While the 31st annual Lucas Oil Chili Bowl Nationals presented by General Tire is over 300 days away, the work for the “Mecca of Midgets” is never ending. With fans and teams already planning their next trek to Tulsa, Okla. the dates for the 2017 edition been set.
Starting with Move In, teams will begin filling the River Spirit Expo Center on Sunday, January 8, 2017. Practice will get underway bright and early on Monday, January 9, 2017 with races stretching from Tuesday, January 10 to Saturday, January 14.
The reserved seat ticket renewal process for the 31st annual Lucas Oil Chili Bowl Nationals presented by General Tire will begin Wednesday, March 2, 2016. Anyone who is not renewing tickets is encouraged to call as well in order to get their spot in line if tickets come available. Current ticket holders will also be receiving a renewal form in the mail but are still encouraged to call ahead of the form.
For new reserved seat ticket hopefuls, tickets are sold in four day or five day packages only. The only individual day sold is Tuesday night. The general admission Pit Pass is sold at the event and can be purchased for single or multiple days. General admission seating is along the back straightaway. Reserved seats overlook turns three and four as well as the front stretch.
Four day reserved seat packages are $227. Five day reserved seat packages are $282. The deadline to renew tickets is Friday, April 29, 2016. Pit Pass prices have not been released.
When the renewals begin on Wednesday, March 2, 2016, tickets can be ordered by phone by calling (918) 838-3777, Monday-Friday from 9:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M. (CT). Those receiving their ticket order forms can mail them back to 1141 S. 83rd East Ave. Tulsa, OK 74112 or fax to (918) 836-5517. Orders must be made by phone, mail, or fax. Orders are not taken via email or social media.
