Fan Fest at Trenton Indoor Auto Racing Event Saturday Moves to 5 P.M. Start
Anticipated Larger-than-expected Response has Gates Opening at 5 P.M., One Hour Earlier than Previously Announced, for Saturday’s “Battle of Trenton” Fan Fest and Indoor Auto Racing Events; Good Seats Still Available
TRENTON, NJ February 26, 2016 . . . Due to an anticipated larger-than-normal response to Len Sammons Motorsports Productions’ Battle Of Trenton’s pre-race Fan Fest, doors will open at the Sun National Bank Center at 5:00 PM, one hour earlier than had been previously announced, for the indoor auto racing events on Saturday (February 27)
“We want to give Fan Fest fans of the Indoor Series a chance to spend some more time with the drivers, get their autographs and have pictures taken with the cars,” Len Sammons said.
Fan Fest is open to any reserved seat ticket holder or to any race fan who is accompanied to the arena by a child.
With the earlier opening, fans will have at least 90 minutes to mingle with the drivers. Racing will begin at 7:00 PM sharp.
Three Quarter (TQ) Midgets and Slingshot heat races and consolation events will winnow the starting field in the 20-lap Slingshot feature to 20 cars; TQs will go for 40-laps with twenty-four cars taking the green flag.
The Battle Of Trenton is the third and final race of the Len Sammons Motorsports Productions (LSMP) Indoor Racing Series presented by VP Racing Fuels. The series point championship be decided Saturday at the Sun National Bank Center.
