Riverside Park Speedway Reunion Held At The Springfield Falcons

Springfield, MA- The Riverside Park Speedway Reunion was held Saturday at the Springfield Falcons game at the Massmutual Center.
Over 40 people that were fans and drivers at the quarter mile oval shared stories from the past. Fans also got to see the pace car and got to see a little display as they walked on the concourse of the arena. It will be 17 years this October that Riverside Park Speedway closed. Bob Polverari took his famous 711 Modified to victory lane in the final modified race that season.
Fans that were at the game saw the Springfield Falcons beat the Portland Pirates in a shootout by the final score of 3-2.
