Fitzgerald Glider Kits 300 at Bristol Motor Speedway
No. 46 PITT OHIO Chevrolet Camaro… Crew Chief Mark Setzer and the No. 46 crew will unload chassis No. 05 for Saturday’s Fitzgerald Glider Kits 300 at Bristol Motor Speedway. This car was last raced at Dover International Speedway by Jamie Dick and prior to that at Bristol Motor Speedway, where Jeffrey Earnhardt finished 15th.

First Timer … The Fitzgerald Glider Kits 300 marks Gdovic’s first time behind the wheel of a NASCAR XFINITY Series car at the World’s Fastest Half-Mile. Gdovic, though, is no stranger to success at Bristol Motor Speedway, even calling it his favorite circle track. Gdovic has competed at the famed short track three times in the K&N Pro Series East. In 2014, Gdovic started the PittLite 125 from the front row, running in the top-5 throughout the majority of the race.
Gdovic’s “Off-Season”… Since Gdovic last competed in the NASCAR XFINITY Series, scoring a 13th-place finish at Watkins Glen International, the 24-year-old has kept busy. He finished a record-setting debut Lamborghini Super Trofeo Series Season, securing the North American Amateur Championship and the Gallardo World Championship at the World Finals event at Sebring International Raceway. Gdovic’s success in all forms of motorsports caught the attention of the community and he joined the Performance Tech Motorsports’ driver lineup for the Rolex 24 Hours of Daytona at the Daytona International Speedway to begin the 2016 season. He returned to Florida to coach NASCAR Whelen Euro Series drivers Anthony Kumpen and Ulysse Delsaux as they competed in the XFINITY and K&N Pro Series season openers, respectively. From there, Gdovic jumped behind the wheel of the No. 46 Verizon Camry for the inaugural K&N Pro Series East race at Mobile Speedway.
Setzer at Bristol … Crew chief of the No. 46 PITT OHIO Chevrolet Camaro, Mark Setzer, will lead the Precision Performance Motorsports crew from the pit box for a second time at Bristol Motor Speedway. Setzer competed at the .533 mile track in 2015, where Jeffrey Earnhardt piloted the Camaro to a 15th-place finish.
Catch the Action … The Fitzgerald Glider Kits 300 at Bristol Motor Speedway will be televised live April 16th, 2016 beginning at 12:30 p.m. ET on FOX Sports 1 and broadcast live on the Performance Racing Network and SIRIUS XM Channel 90.
