Another Busy Month of Auto Racing Action at Grandview Speedway Kicks Off on Saturday

BECHTELSVILLE, PA June 1, 2016 . . . Hopefully Ma Nature is done with the rain and May flowers. Auto racing action is back on Saturday, June 4, at NASCAR sanctioned Grandview Speedway. The tripleheader show of T.P.Trailers 358 Modifieds, BRC Late Models and Sportsman stock cars will be the attraction on Saturday and kicks off a busy month of racing on the one-third-mile, banked clay track. Racing gets the green flag at 7:30 p.m.

Craig VonDohren leads the point battle as he continues to defend his NASCAR Modified championship.

Spectator gates open at 5:30 p.m. with at least 12 exciting events of racing being presented with a $15 admission for adults while youngsters 11 and under are admitted free.

Of course the Low Down and Dirty Meet & Greet near the main gate at 5 p.m. gives fans the opportunity to meet three competitors with their race cars. A great opportunity to collect autographs, take pictures and just meet the racers. This Saturday Modified racer Ron Seltman Jr., Sportsman driver Kenny Bock and Late Model standout Randy Stoudt will be featured. In addition “Alex’s Lemonade Stand for Childhood Cancer” will be part of it all offering fans the chance to purchase raffle tickets, win prizes, and have the proceeds go to the charity.

On Tuesday, June 7th, 7:30 p.m. the United States Auto Club (USAC) National Non-Wing Sprint Tour will offer some outstanding racing action with the Jesse Hockett Classic topping the night. The 358-Modifieds will also be part of the doubleheader Thunder on the Hill presentation.

T.P.Trailers of Limerick will be sponsoring the four division show on Saturday, June 11th at 7:30 p.m. Featured will be the NASCAR 358 Modifieds, BRC Late Models, Sportsman and Blast from the Past Vintage racers with no increase in admission price.

Sportsman stock cars will be in the limelight on Saturday, June 18 at 7:30 p.m. when they top off their night with a 40-lap feature. The T.P.Trailers 358 Modifieds and BRC Late Models will also see action in the tripleheader show sponsored by BFP Specialties/Bashore Trucking.

The final Saturday night event during the month of June is set for June 25th and will be sponsored by Bechtelsville Car Wash. Included this night will be the T.P.Trailers 358 Modifieds, Sportsman and the always exciting TSRS Sprinters. The BRC Late Models will have the night off. Racing starts at 7:30 p.m.

Closing out the busy month of June will be the Tuesday, June 28th Pennsylvania Sprint Speed Week doubleheader that will include the powerful 410 Sprint cars along with the 358 Modifieds.

The month of June offers something for all auto racing fans.

Grandview Speedway, a one-third-mile, banked clay track, is located on Passmore Road just off Route 100 in Bechtelsville, PA, 10 miles north of Pottstown.
