Vondohren, Henn and Ogin Continue to Lead NASCAR Point Standings at Grandview

BECHTELSVILLE, PA June 19, 2016 . . . The latest unofficial Grandview Speedway NASCAR point standings show Craig VonDohren topping the TP Trailers NASCAR 358 Modifieds as he defends his title. The veteran racer has 2190 points followed by Jeff Strunk with 2080 and Mike Gular holding 2017 counters.

In the NASCAR Sportsman division where there has been eight different feature winners in as many weeks Jordan Henn is on top of the standings with 1672.

And Dave Ogin continues to set the pace in the BRC Late Model standings with 1677 points. Close behind in second is Lou Egrie Sr. with 1613 tallies and holding down third is defending champion Chuck Schutz with 1612 counters.

Next event on the schedule is Saturday, June 25 when the TSRS 305 Sprints headline the tripleheader show being sponsored by Bechtelsville Car Wash. Sprinters will be led by champion Mike Haggenbottom along with Chris Allen, a recent feature winner, Tim Tanner, Ryan Stillwagon, Mark Bitner, Kyle Purks and others. The Sprints will be joined by the TP Trailers NASCAR 358 Modifieds and Sportsman stock cars. Adult admission is $18 for this special tripleheader racing event. Gates for spectators open at 5:30 p.m. with racing planned for 7:30 p.m.

Kory Fleming’s Sleepy Hollow 358 Modified team will be giving away bicycles to youngsters on Saturday, July 2nd. Kids need to fill out entry form when they enter the track to be eligible to win a bike. This is a tradition that Kory and his team continue that was started several years back. On July 2nd, the TP Trailers NASCAR 358 Modifieds, BRC Late Models, and Sportsman will be featured.
