Korner & O’Brien Set to Face Off in Round Four of MSD Legends Series at Thompson
NO. STONINGTON, CT – Noah Korner began the 2016 Midstate Site Development (MSD) Legends Series’ season with four consecutive victories. His streak was broke during round three of the Series when Jordan O’Brien swept both races. Now the two drivers head into Sunday’s event as the front runners in the US Legends Cars field.
Despite O’Brien’s two victories on June 5, Noah Korner still carries a healthy 25-point advantage into the penultimate event of the championship season. O’Brien will have two qualifying opportunities and two races to close that gap before the final event of the points season on August 7.
Glenn Korner, who currently is fourth in the standings, has consistently been improving throughout the 2016 season. He finished second to his brother and teammate, Noah, on May 20, and registered third and fourth place finishes, respectively, on June 5.
