Missouri State Fair Speedway Lights Up Thursday Night With The ASCS Warrior Region
TULSA, Okla. (July 26, 2016) A nice tune up for Missouri teams and fans for the High Roller Classic on Sunday, August 21, the Missouri State Fair Speedway will see a Night of Stars at the “Historic Half-Mile” on Thursday, July 28 as the Speedway Motors ASCS Warrior Region presented by Impact Signs, Awnings, and Wraps along with Modifieds make their way to Sedalia, Mo.
Presented by Central Bank and Subway, the Thursday night spectacular will feature not only a complete night of racing, but will also settle a burning question. Who is faster? For a best two out of three faceoff, Brian Brown and Danny Lasoski will go head-to-head to see who will claim the family honor.
Along with two of Missouri’s most noted Sprint Car names, one of racing’s biggest names will also be on hand as Kenny Schrader will bring his Federated Auto Parks No. 9 to do battle with the Modifieds.
An almost unstoppable force in 2016, Jonathan Cornell added a third consecutive Clyde Wood Memorial win to his resume this past Sunday to extend his points lead to 350 over Evan Martin. With 11 overall wins on the season, five of those have come in ASCS Warrior competition.
Cody Baker, who wheeled the McCarty Motorsports entry this past Sunday, holds third with Danny Thoman and Austin Alumbaugh making up the top-five in tour standings.
Thursday, July 28 will see Hot Laps at 7:00 P.M. (CDT). Admission is $20. Senior and Military is $18 with kids 13-17 admitted for $10. Children 12 years and younger get into the grandstands for free. For more information, look up the Missouri State Fair Speedway on Facebook.
