Watch North/South SLM Challenge Saturday on Speed51.com
Concord, N.C. — A battle will take place this Saturday at Fairgrounds Speedway Nashville (TN) and those unable to make it to the track will be able to watch live on Speed51.com.
Super Late Model drivers from both north and south of the Mason-Dixon line will meet at the historic Tennessee speedway for the North/South Super Late Model Challenge.
In addition to bragging rights for each region on the line, drivers will also be battling for a $5,000 top prize during the 100-lap feature race.
The Southern Super Series (SSS) will represent the south and bring their best drivers including the likes of defending race winner and defending series champion Donnie Wilson. Casey Roderick, who has four Pro Late Model wins this season, Bubba Pollard and Stephen Nasse will also be representing the south.
Knowing the SSS wants to claim they have the best drivers in the country, the ARCA/CRA Super Series will also bring a stout line up of their own with drivers like Brian Campbell, Travis Braden, Johnny VanDoorn, Dennis Prunty and Jack Dossey III.
Dalton Armstrong, last year’s Red Bud 300 winner, is always a force to be reckoned with at Nashville and intends to keep it that way as he will return to the Fairgrounds this weekend.
Sterling Marlin, a two-time Daytona 500 Champion, is throwing in his entry to the North/South battle at the Fairgrounds as he looks to make select SLM starts this season.
Piloting a Kyle Busch Motorsports (KBM) Toyota, Arkansas native Cole Rouse and his KBM crew are running the full CARS Tour season but will be at the Fairgrounds this weekend during an off-weekend for the CARS Tour.
Another team making the trip from North Carolina is youngster Garrett Jones. Jones is a Southern Super Series regular.
Those who can’t make the trip to Tennessee for the North/South Super Late Model Challenge will be able to view all the action on Speed51.com’s pay-per-view for only $14.99.
