Claremont: Weather or Not – Second Test and Tune Report – April 22
With 6 hours of track time originally scheduled for the 2nd Test and Tune Session of the season, 37 race teams participating in the Newport Chevrolet Weekly Racing Series were in attendance as hundreds of laps were recorded during the day. A light drizzle caused a slight delay during the afternoon then cut short the session for good 90 minutes early.

The 2017 season opens this Friday, April 28 with the 75 Lap Richardson Memorial Race for the R.E. Hinkley Super Streets. The Casella Modifieds, Pepsi Limited Sportsman, and T-Bird Mini Mart Wildcats will round out the evening’s card. Grandstand admission for the event is $ 10 for ages 6 and up.
